Sweet tweet!
A great post for WBW!
a sweet little bird
A beautiful portrait of such a sweet little bird!
I am just beginning to notice more of these lately, and hoping it’s a sign of spring. 🙂
Very cool edit! All the white with hints of color is beautiful.
Generally, I have a “ton” of goldfinches on my feeders, but with temperatures in the 40’s the birds aren’t so dependent on the sunflower seeds right now. There are still a few every day, though. Today, I tried to photograph one….will need to see if I actually got an image worth saving!
Nice processing!
It won’t be long these little guys will return to my backyard.
Sweet shot, lovely edit!
Beautiful!
Lovely pictures! Hanne Bente

With our warmer temps we are seeing quite a few of these little ones. 🙂
I have been seeing them here too and it is unusual for our area. What a pretty portrait.
Very well done Pat. I like the soft yellow tones that really do stand out in a subtle way.
So very pretty!
Pat, I love this shot!
So cute!
Is this photo right out of the camera or did you use a program to alter it? Whatever, you did it is beautiful!…:)JP
Thanks. I used Photoshop to alter my photo.
How lovely!
The way this was edited, it looks like a lovely watercolour, beautiful~
So delicate and lovely!
Love your editing on this photo! Beautiful goldfinch. Happy Valentine’s Day to you.
Oh how sweet the goldfinch looks Pat…I wonder if the flock I host during the winter is different from my nestling goldfinch as there seems to be so many of them…Michelle
Love it! I’ve been trying to attract these birds for while, and finally, last week, we had a couple at our feeders.
Saw dozens of goldfinches this morning busy fueling up for their flight northward. It won’t be long.
Very nice image!
Beautiful picture you show 🙂 Hanne Bente
I love this one! So creamy, soft and clean. A joy to behold. Sharon
Always my favorite.
Beautiful. That little tad of back-lighting did the trick! This looks like a pastel drawing.
