As the snow fell yesterday morning, this little squirrel tried very hard to get at the suet in the cage feeder.

    Perky little squirrel! As much as I loved the snow, growing up in New Jersey, I’m happy here in Florida on this “cold” day with the morning temp in the mid-50s.

    Oh what an absolutely wonderful nature shot! Those squirrels are so clever when it comes to their food. We live on a heavily wooded lot with many squirrels. I once made the mistake of feeding them (sitting a little dish on the steps). Well, they got quite uppity and tried to take over the front porch . I won’t be doing that again!
