Black & White Wednesday
The Weekend in Black and White
The BIRD D’pot
nice in b&w!
I wonder what the bird was thinking? Great capture Pat!
Super cool. This would make a great Halloween card.
What an impressive beak! I’ve never seen a grackle before (in Germany they aren’t)
Young grackle in B&W looks old.
Grackle love!!!!! I love the feel of this photo! Nicely done….plus they are cool birds!
Pat, what a beauty! It has such a large bill!
Great shot. Wonder what it’s thinking.
Have a nice day 🙂
He’s all beak and feet! Lovely photo.
The monochrome accentuates the feather detail. Many of our grackles (both Common and Boat-tailed) are now in molt and missing their tails.
Great shot of the bird in black and white.
Good shot; I like that you have placed him against the dark background, away from the high-lights.
Fantastic capture of the grackle with its mouth wide open.
Sure is, Pat! Wide-eyed and not so bushy tailed.
Dynamic macro shot! Love the beautiful bird! happy weekend to you!
artmusedog and carol (A Creative Harbor)
…as I posted above in the other comments…this is a perfect way to show off a grackle!!
thanks for linking in this weekend.
Nice shot in black and white. I hope he wasn’t telling you off at the time. 🙂
Very different look in black and white. Nice.
That grackle obviously has something to say! Great shot!
Scary eye….but still very nice!
Lovely shot! Looks like he has something important on his mind.
Very nice in B&W!
