I saw some of these birds many years ago – I’d like the change to see and photograph them again. Nice picture.

Come to think of it, they are more well-mannered at the feeder than say the red-winged blackbirds, though a little messy. This is a nice portrait!
What a beauty.
I love the sound of their name…. and am fascinated by their eerie look!
love the watercolor effect Pat:-)
What a pretty image!
I like the grackles,, but a group become a noisy bully crowd that eats everything… Great photo..I love their eye..It shows intelligence to me.. Michelle
Such beautiful texture and image!
They can be loud, obnoxious and just plain mean at times. In the right light and when alone, it’s a handsome bird! Nice image!
