what a beautiful close up, he/she is so pensive. my yard is overflowing with blue jays and i really love them. i think they get a bad rap!!

Wow, what a great shot! May I ask what kind of camera and lens you use? Your photos are so clear and detailed…just lovely!
I use a Canon Rebel XTi. The lens I use most often is a Canon 70-300mm Telephoto with Image Stabilization.
Recently I’ve added a Kenko 1.4x Telephoto extender, but it needs LOTS of light.
Excellent shot! There’s even a reflection in his eye – amazing.
Hi there – ncie bird – does the ‘texture’ you have added wash out the colour – or is the bird just a bit off colour (like me!!)
