Indeed it is, but there is still so much beauty to be found, as you have so wonderfully captured here Pat! This is wonderful!
Thank you so much for sharing this week at The Creative Exchange.
I wish you a beautiful holiday.
Great title Pat. Lovely capture and texture work. Margie
awww. and it looks like it was a good party, too!
Stark yet beautiful…what a lovely effect!
I think there is a quiet dignity and beauty to a spent flower…you captured it well
Yes, the party IS over, isn’t it? My three rose bushes are in wooden tubs on my back porch; recently, two of them sent out new green leaves. I’m sure the most recent below-freezing temperatures have put a stop to that action! Lovely capture of the “after” life of the rose.
Your dead flowers look better than my real ones – you are a wonder!
This is so pretty…beautiful captured!
The party has over, but it will start soon. Nice texture.
An excellent texture and exquisite composition, I like this photo.

Aw! And they were having such a grand time! There’s always next year to look forward to!
Beautiful Pat!!! Love the texture! I hope you will consider sending me an email about what you are grateful for to add to this year’s gratitude word quilt. It will be posted on my blog on Dec 31st. I am collecting expressions of gratitude from around the world.

Great texture work-believe it or not….I still have a few roses on my bushes! Living in CA we just haven’t seen real cold weather yet. I have my fingers crossed for SNOW! Not likely…but I’m dreamin!
Are you sure three textures is enough? 🙂
Don’t those hips take on nice shapes.
