I don’t know what this plant is. Its branches grew through the boards of the fence. It was one of the last plants to lose its leaves.
Burning the candle at both ends: one side you, the other me 🙂
Your neighbours send you much nicer plants than mine do.
That ruby red is so lovely against the weathered wood.
wow… beautiful color! great picture:)
Such a great capture. Love the red against the gray of the wooden fence. Can’t help you on the name of the bush, like I don’t know the names of most birds, except for the obvious …robin, blue jay, cardinal, LOL, but love them just the same.
I love the texture on the wooden wall, the red leaves stand out so lovely against it.
I like your composition
Woof Pat! The leaves are on fire!
That’s beautiful isn’t it? I love your composition, the colour and the texture from the fence too, wonderful 🙂
very beautiful autumn leaves! I like them very much.
The red leaves look outstanding against the wooden texture.
beautiful and vivid last ‘hurrah’. 🙂
The fiery red leaves against the gray wood fence looks marvelous.
It looks like a Burning Bush’. Don’t you just love that combination of the gray background to help POP the colour! Nice.
I think the leaves may be on a Euonymous known as burning bush. The leaves are lovely with the weathered wood as a backdrop.
Beautiful photo. The red colour against the grey is super! Have a nice week to you.
Don’t know what it is, but love the color & looks really pretty against the weathered wood fence
Oh, that’s glorious! I agree that it’s most likely a Burning Bush. (We had the most beautiful one that didn’t survive last winter’s cold, thaw, cold cycle.) Your composition is great…and the red against the gray texture is fabulous.
I love the way you’ve composed this Pat, and the wonderful red against the texture of the fence. Beautifully done!
Thank you so much for sharing at The Creative Exchange today.
Have a great evening!
What a gorgeous pop of red! Especially against the graying wood. I wonder if this is a Virginia Creeper?
Pat, this shot is stunning. I love both the leafs and the woodwork behind them.
Such a beautiful capture. Sad to see the leaves leave!
Love the red leaves against the fence.
Lovely photo, beautiful red against the wooden fence.
Wonderful leaves, love, with a light exquisite and delicious texture. Greetings.
Beautiful image! I love the composition and subtle processing!
