Burning the candle at both ends: one side you, the other me 🙂
Your neighbours send you much nicer plants than mine do.
That ruby red is so lovely against the weathered wood.

  3. Such a great capture. Love the red against the gray of the wooden fence. Can’t help you on the name of the bush, like I don’t know the names of most birds, except for the obvious …robin, blue jay, cardinal, LOL, but love them just the same.

  12. I think the leaves may be on a Euonymous known as burning bush. The leaves are lovely with the weathered wood as a backdrop.

  15. Oh, that’s glorious! I agree that it’s most likely a Burning Bush. (We had the most beautiful one that didn’t survive last winter’s cold, thaw, cold cycle.) Your composition is great…and the red against the gray texture is fabulous.
